Our commitment
Tony’s Painting CA Inc. is committed to making tonyspaintingca.com accessible to users with disabilities, including users who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, and other assistive technologies. We believe everyone should be able to find painting service information, request quotes, and review our terms regardless of how they access the web.
Standards we target
We design and build with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
What we’ve done
Our Site is built with accessibility in mind from the start, including:
- Semantic HTML — proper heading hierarchy, navigation landmarks, and form structure for assistive technologies.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, accordions) are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
- Image alt text — meaningful descriptions on photographs of completed work, awards, and other content images.
- Color contrast — text and interactive elements use color combinations that meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
- Responsive design — the Site adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, including users with zoom or magnification needs.
- Form labels — every form field has a visible, programmatically associated label.
- Focus indicators — visible focus states on interactive elements for keyboard users.
Ongoing work
Web accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review new content and pages for accessibility issues and aim to address them quickly. If you find any part of the Site difficult or impossible to use with assistive technology, please tell us — we want to fix it.
Known limitations
We are aware that not every aspect of the Site may meet WCAG 2.1 AA at all times. Areas we are actively working on include:
- Adding captions and transcripts to any future video content.
- Continuing to refine alt text on project photographs as our portfolio expands.
- Periodic third-party accessibility audits to catch issues we may have missed.
Third-party content
Some third-party content embedded on the Site (such as Google reviews displayed from our Google Business Profile, downloadable PDF documents, or social media embeds) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We provide alternatives where possible — for example, our Reviews page displays Google review text directly on the page in addition to any embeds, so screen-reader users have full access to the review content.

- Which page or feature was affected.
