How it works

- 2. They put your name in the formThe estimate form has a "Referred by" field. Your name goes there, or they mention it at the site visit, before the proposal is signed. We write it on the proposal so nothing is lost.
- 3. You get $100Within 30 days of the final walkthrough sign-off and final payment, once we confirm it. Check or Zelle. No limit on how many neighbors you refer.

The simplest way: your neighbor requests an estimate and puts your name in the "Referred by" field. If they would rather we reach out, send us their name and number below, but only if they have said yes to a call from us.
Who can refer
Anyone who knows a home or building in San Diego County that needs paint: past clients, neighbors, realtors, property managers and HOA board members. The person you refer needs to be new to us, meaning no project with Tony's Painting CA Inc. in the past 24 months. Employees, subcontractors and their households are not eligible. The full rules are in the referral terms.
Rewards are confirmed by us once every condition is met. We can decline a reward where the rules were not followed, for example a self-referral, a project that was cancelled or not paid, or a customer who had already contacted us. The terms spell it out.
Referral questions
Do I have to be a past customer to refer someone?
No. Past clients, neighbors, realtors, property managers and HOA board members can all refer. Employees, subcontractors and their households cannot.
When do I get the reward?
After the referred project is complete, the final walkthrough is signed off and the invoice is paid in full, we confirm the reward in writing and pay it within 30 days. Check or Zelle, your choice.
Is there a limit?
No. Every referred project that completes earns $100. Refer three neighbors, earn three rewards.
Does it count for commercial or HOA work?
Yes. Any project with a signed proposal of $2,500 or more counts, residential or commercial. The $250 TONY250 discount for the person you refer applies to residential projects only.
What if my neighbor forgets to mention me?
Tell us before their proposal is signed and we add your name to it. Once a proposal is signed we cannot add a referrer, so the earlier the better.
Will you contact the person I refer?
Only if they have said yes to a call from us. Otherwise, give them our number and your name and let them reach out when they are ready. We never sell or share their information.
